This is my graduation project Paradijs (translated to Paradise). I followed four Surinamese gardeners at a community garden in the Bijlmer (Amsterdam South East). When being in their gardens they all feel connected to their home, Suriname. It’s a place they refer to as Paradise, or as their own little piece of Suriname.
